The Britt Lloyd Band released a new single "Down the Aisle". Contest for Britt to play the song in someones wedding has taken place and winners announced.
Winner is: Kristin jamison from Kingsvlle, TX
"This is the absolute best texas country love song ever written and from a girls point of view if there was the perfect way to describe the feeling of getting married and having your future walking towards you this song is it!! Phenominal songwriting!!"
Runner up is: Taylor Cerne from Pittsburg, Kansas
"My fiance and I had ironically been talking about wedding songs the last few nights-we were really needing to nail them down since the wedding is about 6 weeks away (july 23). We had chosen a few that we liked and decided to go with-they worked but didn't have the wow factor. Anyway, I heard the last part of this song on RadioFreeTexas the other night and it really caught my ear. Tonight I found and listened to it-seems to say exactly how I feel-as a matter of fact I had to get my fiance out of bed so she could hear it too-"

Awesome new single "Chrome '89 DeVille" to be released to Texas Music Charts Sept 10.
This is the Legend of the Chrome '89 DeVille. Written by Britt Lloyd, songwriter:
I used to play lead guitar in another band in 2001-02 and we would tour around the great State of Texas and up into Oklahoma. During this time, my best bud "Big Al" had purchased a 1989 Cadillac DeVille that was chrome like a silver bullet. We would cruise around to all of our gigs in that machine, honking the locomotive-sounding horn in every neighborhood that we visited (never worrying about the time of day or night). The only thing wrong with the car was that the radio would only play cassette tapes....radio was broke and no cd player, obviously. We came across 4 tapes that we could jam to on our adventures: Jim Croce, Larry Joe Taylor, ZZ Top and Poison....3 of them got a mention in the song.
And that is the Legend of the Chrome '89 DeVille.....enjoy
